Juni Learning was launched in 2017 by two women who wanted to provide a host of opportunities to learners.
Though the co-founders spent their childhood in different timezones—Ruby Lee was an East Coast gal and Vivian Shen hailed from Silicon Valley—they had a profound common experience in their basic education days. As it turned out, both Lee and Shen ran into obstacles as they tried to pursue their fields of interest.
To be specific, they wanted to get into coding, but their respective schools offered little to no help on that front. Plus, Shen had a special interest in business, but this wasn’t even a subject in her high school curriculum at that time.
When the two women crossed paths years later, they decided to start a venture that would improve the learning prospects for young people who—like them—might have run into a brick wall. In 2017, their vision came to life with the launch of Juni Learning in San Francisco.
Today, Juni Learning offers a host of coding courses that have been taken by thousands of online students. These include various mastery levels of Java, Python, and Scratch. In addition, parents who seek help for their children in STEM subjects can take their pick of courses.

What can you expect from this job?
To qualify for the remote position of customer success representative, you need to meet the following criteria:
- U.S. resident with authorization to work in the country
- 1-2 years of experience in client services (preferably in a role that deals with consumer-focused products)
- At least six months of experience in a remote position
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to take more than 30 calls a day
In terms of equipment, you’ll need a PC or a Mac and a strong internet connection. Plus, you should have a secure workspace at home.

Here are some of the responsibilities attached to this role:
- Maintain strong relations with a customer (from registration all the way to follow-up and feedback).
- Provide sound advice to parents and learners regarding the courses offered by the platform.
- Resolve issues that are communicated via phone, text, and email.
- Schedule trial sessions and facilitate the registration of new students.
Your work for Juni Learning will commence with a month-long trial period. Be warned that you may have to take evening and weekend shifts.
