Boston Medical Center is looking to fill the position of patient service representative. Although no degree is needed, it helps to have a high school diploma or equivalent or, even better, an associate degree.
In addition, candidates should have minimum two years of call center or customer service experience, preferably in the medical sector. To increase your chance of being shortlisted, you should either be a certified medical assistant or have completed equivalent training.

Responsibilities you’ll be expected to take on
Working in healthcare is difficult but rewarding. You will be helping people every day by listening to their concerns and being patient in comforting them and explaining issues.
Your responsibilities as a patient services rep will include handling patient inquiries on a day-to-day basis. At times, you may have to deal with a high call volume, but you’ll be expected to address patient concerns and questions regardless of the number of calls.

You will collect information from patients before scheduling/rescheduling appointments using a computer system and try to answer whatever questions patients might have regarding billing, insurance, medical reconciliation, and authorization management.
This position is fully remote. All you have to do is set up a secure connection and create a workspace where you won’t be interrupted during work hours.
This job pays between $2,583 and $3,416 per month, or an estimated $31,000 to $41,000 a year.
