In the restaurant industry, marketing has surely come a long way since the print era.
You know, the era that relied heavily on brochures, posters, and magazine ads. Ever seen a devoted employee handing out flyers outside a local restaurant? Yep, that era.
Social media has played a huge role in the evolution of restaurant marketing. Even if you aren’t necessarily a veteran of the restaurant business, you can harness your social media skills to get in on the marketing action.
Would you happen to be looking for a job that fits this very description? Guess what? We’ve found the company and the role for you!
Slique Media is looking to hire a relationship manager to work on various social media channels. If the online realm is your wheelhouse, you could very well be the person fit to fill this vacancy.
More on Slique Media
Launched in 2012, Slique Media is a California-based company with a distinct focus. In a 2022 appearance on The Thoughtful Entrepreneur Podcast, co-founder Andrew Le summed up Slique Media’s identity as follows:
“Slique Media is a social media creative agency. We have a pretty strong specialization in restaurants and hospitality. We’ll come in, take over social media accounts, run it from bottom to top, do all the content creation, influencer management, you name it.”
Le went on to recount how this marketing endeavor started as a side hustle with a business partner. It was a great combination, really: Le’s partner had a number of contacts, while Le himself had significant experience in the marketing arena.
When the two pooled their resources, the list of clients grew quickly. Then, Le and his partner had the same thought: “Let’s leave our day jobs to do this full time.”
In its early years, Slique Media established a foothold on the Southern California restaurant scene. As the company grew, it came to work with clients across the U.S. Have you sampled the delicacies offered by Slique Media’s clientele?
- Beard Papa’s
- Earl of Sandwich
- Crawfish Cave
- Bake Culture
- The Alley
- The Yellow Chilli
- Jinya Ramen Bar
- The Pie Hole
Admit it: That last one really caught your attention. If Slique Media can run a powerful campaign for The Pie Hole—with quality copywriting, influencer marketing, TikTok videos, and all—it can handle just about any entity in the restaurant industry.
