Back in school, we learned that English was the “universal language.” Whether you agree with the label or not, you can’t deny that fluency in this language can get you places.
Specifically, you can make a living as an English language instructor. Since millions of learners don’t have English as their mother tongue, there’s constant demand for skilled English teachers who can help them navigate this tricky language.
(Yes, we called English “tricky.” This is not the place for debate, but if you don’t consider English spelling tricky, we can’t imagine what your definition of that word is.)
The evolution of the internet has created countless employment opportunities for English teachers. If you’re an English language instructor in search of a reliable platform, look no further than Tutlo.
Based in Poland, Tutlo is an English learning site that offers both general English courses and specialized programs. With Tutlo, you can monetize your language expertise while providing valuable assistance to students aiming for proficiency!
More on Tutlo
Tutlo is the brainchild of Damian Strzelczyk and Tomek Jabłoński, both of them alumni of the Warsaw School of Economics.
The two agreed that foreign language schools—even those supposedly a cut above the rest—were in urgent need of an upgrade. Specifically, they noted that these schools could better adapt to innovations in language teaching (rather than stick to obsolete pedagogical methods).
Thus, in 2015, Strzelczyk and Jabłoński launched the Tutlo site. Their intent was to create a platform that would accommodate instructors with native fluency and learners eager to master the English language.
Taking full advantage of technological progress, the Tutlo team made its services accessible to students through digital means. As long as learners had access to the internet via a smartphone, a tablet, or a computer, they could avail themselves of Tutlo’s quality instruction.
What exactly makes Tutlo stand out? For one thing, its curriculum recognizes that English works in several contexts. While the platform proudly offers a General English course, it also has specialized programs such as Business English and Travel English. In addition, Tutlo offers individual learning sessions that fully utilize the expertise of the tutors’ native fluency.
At present, the platform has 30,000+ learners and more than 1,000 active tutors. For the excellent work that Tutlo has done in the language teaching field, it has received recognition from local outlets as well as Forbes!
Even with a thousand-strong teacher team, Tutlo is ready to embrace new opportunities for expansion. This begins with securing the services of talented tutors such as yourself.
